Rules
Morning Procedures · Boat check is required - Life jackets and kill switch cords must be worn when the boat is moving under main engine power. (To be identified) · No blast off · Lines in the water at 7:00am (Not one minute before!!!)
Afternoon Procedures Check-in time is 4:00pm SHARP. You must be within a reasonable distance, off-plane, and within good eyesight of the check-in dock by this time. DO NOT CROWD THE DOCK. Only moor your boat when it is your turn to weigh in. Boats waiting to weigh in must remain clear of the dock and launch area until called forward. DO NOT BAG YOUR FISH UNTIL MIKE/JEFF INDICATES THE SCALES ARE OPEN. Additionally, do not start to bag your fish until you are very close to your weigh-in slot. KNOW YOUR BOAT NUMBER You must have your fish in the supplied mesh bag inside a wet bag. It is unacceptable for anyone to come up with the fish in just a mesh bag alone. When you’ve weighed your fish give your mesh bag to a waiting boat
Rules Reminder Releasing your day’s catch: OVSB anglers are responsible for their fish and must release them after weigh-in into deep water (7+ ft), away from docks, shorelines, and the weigh-in site (100m +) ; any fish released within these locations will results in disqualification and loss of that day’s weight.
